OJC Christmas Project 2017

What is “The Christmas Project?”

The “Operation Jesus Cares Christmas Project” is a great opportunity to help shine a little hope into a community that is struggling to make ends meet.

Once again we will be working with Christ-St Peters School in Milwaukee for our outreach Christmas project.  This is a great opportunity to share Christ’s love by serving others. Not only will we impact a struggling community, but we will also give the students an opportunity to feel the joy of serving others.

Your Support Through a Monetary Donation

You can donate to the project through your OJC envelope, or make an online donation. Please specify “Operation Jesus Cares” when selecting a fund. We are looking to raise $2,000 for the project.  The money will go towards creating 140 care packages which includes purchasing food items for a nice meal, winter hats/gloves, sanitary items, and a children’s toy or coloring book.

Helping the Students Assemble and Deliver Packages

On Tuesday, December 19th, we will be meeting at Christ St Peters School to assist the students in assembling their care packages. We will walk with the students in the neighborhood as they deliver their care packages. The event will last from 8AM-noon. Following package delivery,  we will celebrate with a special lunch with the students in their lunchroom. Let us know that you would like to help by filling out this short form, or you can sign up at church or RSVP to Ryan Solie at solie65@hotmail.com.  Young children are welcome to the event!
