All good things must come to an end. When you are on vacation, hopefully having a blast, you have this inkling that all good things must come to an end. Last Sunday the Philadelphia Eagles won the Superbowl. As we know, most teams don’t repeat as champions – all good things must come to an end. I bet you have heard that before, said it before and lived it before.
This weekend we will be celebrating God’s ministry through the Kuerth family to us, our community, and our world. It has been a fantastic journey. Pastor Ben and family were the perfect people to lead us and minister to us. We grew together, played together, worshiped together, learned together, served together, had fun together and a whole lot more.
While we are very sad to see them leave, this good thing that they have been sharing with us, the Gospel, doesn’t come to an end! The Kuerth’s will take the gospel with them and God will work through that gospel just as he did here. We have the gospel here and it will continue to alter and shape our lives. And the gospel will continue to motivate us to share Christ’s victory with other people loving them enough to meet them where they are and so change their lives too. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the best thing and it never ends!
Thank you God, from the bottom of our hearts, for blessing us with the Kuerth family! May your gospel ministry through them impact thousands more at Divine Savior. Our prayers are with you Pastor Ben, Sarah, Lydia, Sophia and Haylee.

New Staff— Music, Office, and Communications – We are eager to announce that Annie Buege is our new Music Coordinator. You are likely familiar with Annie as she has been a part of the music team for a number of years. She and her husband Dave, who is also a part of our music team, play in a local band called “The Playlist.” We are super blessed to have Annie bring her talents and gifts and offer them to the Lord in her new role. Annie and Dave have two children, Tristan and Logan! Annie will be starting in her new position immediately.
We also welcome Sammi Goodger to our team. She will be using her many gifts to serve our congregation as both Office Manager and Communications Coordinator. Sammi has been a dedicated teacher for 11 years and has also been involved in many volunteer roles at Victory, including coordinating events, participating on the music and tech teams, and being a Quest youth leader. Sammi is married to Mark, who is also a big part of our music team. They have three children, Mason, Isaiah and Autumn! Sammi will start in her new role on February 19.
Welcome to Annie and Sammi!
