“We questioned the elders and asked them, “Who authorized you to rebuild this temple and to finish it?” We also asked them their names, so that we could write down the names of their leaders for your information. This is the answer they gave us: ‘We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago, one that a great king of Israel built and finished.'” – Ezra 5:9, 11
Zero to 4 Walls in 3 Days Flat
The process of building walls for the sanctuary space was done in three days. Flatbed trucks brought the long, narrow sections of pre-cast “Spancrete” to the site and a crane hoisted them into place while construction workers connected them together. The adult version of playing with a Lego set.
Builders For Christ: Update
The Builders For Christ workers started constructing the wood frame sections for the rest of the building. The permit has not been issued yet for the shed, so it will have to wait for a few more days. Some delicious meals and snacks have been delivered this week, and a storage trailer appeared on the camp site creating a safe home for a full-sized refrigerator which was hooked up to the generator for power.
