CHRISTMAS IN FRANKLIN
December 24 at 2:30 & 4:00pm
December 24 at 2:30 & 4:00pm
Gift exchanges are a common practice during Christmas. Some people even do a white elephant gift exchange, where people bring things that they donβt want anymore. When it comes to the true Christmas story, we bring God our white elephant gifts, our sins and shame, and he gives us the most precious gift, himself. During this season, we want to celebrate the radical generosity of our good God. He willingly accepts our worst and gives us his best. For Christmas Eve, we will be hearing a message on exchanging guilt for grace!
Join us on Christmas Eve (12/24) at 2:30 OR 4:00pm as we celebrate that Jesus has come. Services are held online and in-person. This year, our services will be held at the Saber Center at Franklin High School located at 8222 S 51st St in Franklin. We hope you will join us!
WHAT TO EXPECT
We want you to feel at home right away when you worship with Victory! So, here are a few things you'll want to know about our Christmas in Franklin experience, whether you're joining in at the Saber Center or online.
IF YOU'RE WORSHIPING AT THE SABER CENTER ...
π Dress comfortably. We're relaxed, and we want you to be too!
π Plan to arrive a few minutes early. We want you to have time to get settled and find your seat.
π There will be a photo booth! There will be a Christmas photo booth where you and your loved ones can take a photo before or after the worship service.
π Participate in worship as you feel comfortable. We'll project song lyrics and readings on the screen in the Auditorium. Victory Alive, Victory's worship band, will provide live music to enjoy and help you engage in worship.
π Bring your kids with you to the service. Although Victory Kids (our kids' program on Sunday mornings) will not be available, your kids will enjoy the service as much as you will! If you need to take your kids out of the service for whatever reason, we stream our service in the lobby, too.
π Listen to an inspiring message. Pastor Ben will have an inspiring message to share about grace over guilt during the holiday season and always.
π Get a gift. On your way out of worship, we'll have a gift for you as our way of saying thanks for worshiping with us!
IF YOU'RE WORSHIPING ONLINE...
π Get comfy. Sit in your favorite chair, make some cocoa, and turn on the Christmas tree lights to get ready to worship.
π Enjoy family time. Turn off the tablets and smartphones, put aside the holiday to-do list, and postpone the presents to spend quality time with God and with your family.
π Plan to tune in a few minutes early. We want you to have time to say hi to the other online worshipers in the chat.
π Let us know you tuned in. Make sure to fill out a connection card so we know you worshiped with us.
π Engage in worship. Sing along to your favorite Christmas songs, follow along with the readings, and listen to a message from Pastor Ben about grace during the holiday season and always.
π Virtual Give Back Opportunity. This year, we will donate to select non-profits for each completed form. Please fill out the form in the live chat during the service and we will make a special donation!
