Why Am I Here?
Fall Bible Study Series // Wednesdays in October // 6:30-7:30 pm
A USA Today poll posed this question: “What would you ask God if you could get a direct and immediate answer?” By far the number one response was “What’s my purpose here?”
It’s no secret that the strong majority of people question the value of so many “trifles of life” that occupy so much of our time and energy. In the end people ask, “Is this all there is?” or “What’s the value of my life anyway?”
“Most men live lives of quiet desperation” (Henry David Thoreau). So, what’s the secret? It’s not the private possession of the brilliant scientist or the devoted theologian or the contemplative philosopher. Then why are so many people living with excessive frustration, feelings of emptiness, disgust, apathy, or anger?
Why Am I Here? A Study of Ecclesiastes
Our study course will focus on the search of King Solomon when God guided him to ask important questions and provide necessary answers to everyone wrestling with the same basic issues today. All are invited to attend this study on Wednesdays in October at the Ministry Center (Elementary classroom). Professor Forrest “Frosty” Bivens will lead this interactive study. No RSVP needed.
