JANUARY 2023 LEADERSHIP TEAM MEETING

VICTORY STORIES
- Great attendance for Christmas Eve Worship both in-person and online!
- January 2023 has had attendance bumps each week – including both in-person
- and online.
- We continue to see many new faces at worship each week and more people
- getting involved in various ways (time, talents, treasures).
- Victory Kids has seen record high numbers – many are new families!
- Victory was able to help pay off the lunch debt in the Franklin School Districts.
DISCUSSION
Staffing
- The Victory Staff held a retreat on January 9, 2023 to discuss the mission and to plan for 2023. The staff had a great time connecting and building comradery while prepping for an exciting year ahead.
GATHER
- We continue to see growth in-person and online.
GROUPS
- We are blessed to have new groups, both life groups and special interest groups, starting at Victory that are meeting the needs of people and meeting them where they are at. We continue to have new groups coming together.
GIVE
- Victory Kids has started a new initiative called Secret Agents of Service (SAS) where the children are given service “missions” in the community. There has been a lot of engagement with this and the families look forward to new missions.
- We continue to be blessed by the generosity of our members and regular attenders.
- We are seeing ongoing stability from an operational and cost perspective.
- The Ministry Expansion Project is fully paid off!
- The Victory Staff will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Event for our amazing volunteers this February! We have over 200 people who serve in various ways at Victory.
GROW
- We had 20 people in attendance for the Discover Luncheon this month.
- January has seen a jump in attendance each week both in-person and online!

GO
- Victory Gives Back Initiative: Each month, a Victory Life Group or Victory Team will lead a Gives Back Initiative in the community. Each group will have the opportunity to pick their own cause and the congregation will be encouraged to get involved too. The Leadership Team will be spearheading an opportunity in April.
- Toy Drive: The Friends of Jesus Toy Drive in support of children in the greater Milwaukee was a huge success. We hit a record high in toy donations to support children in the community.
- Jingle Jam: Jingle Jam went well this year. We had great attendance in-person and had many tuned in online as well!
- Supporting the Community: Victory is so thankful to be able to support the community in various ways. Recently, Victory was able to assist with paying off the lunch debts for families in the Franklin School District – read more here. This would not be possible without the generosity of Victory’s members and regular attenders!
