A Life Worth Living

A Life Worth Living

Hi Friends,

This weekend I’m planning on cleaning our garage. I wonder what I will find. As many of us begin to do spring cleaning, we are finding out that we have things we didn’t realize that we had. Last weekend our senior assistant, Peter Schlicht, let us in on a truth that we sometimes forget. We are not empty but we are full because we are in Christ who lavishes his grace on us! Here is his message in case you missed it or want to listen to it again or even share it with somebody who needs a gospel pick me up!

Pastor Ben is going to continue our “Empty” series this weekend and lead us to see that Christ’s Performance Fills Life With Purpose. See you in a couple of days. Bring a family member, friend or acquaintance if you can.

Victory Kids Singing – The Elementary Room of Victory Kids will be praising God in song in our May 21st 10:45 am service!  What a blessing our entire Victory Kids Ministry is!

Mother’s Day Sale – This Sunday, purchase a meaningful work of art for Mother’s Day while supporting the Moore family as they prepare for their daughter Jordan’s brain surgery. Member and graphic designer, Naomi Scheel, will be selling prints of her scripture based artwork in the lobby to donate 50% of her sales to the Moore family!

To provide some financial assistance to the young people and families of our congregation who intend to pursue the preaching and teaching ministry in our Synod. 3. To provide an opportunity for the members and attendees of our congregation to encourage and support a Lutheran based education for our young people. During the month of May we will be receiving donations to fulfill the purpose of this fund. To contribute to this fund go to our online giving page.
