In Victory of the Lamb Lutheran Church, an enormous army of loving people gather to raise money for the Poulos family. Jackson Poulos, a five-year old boy, has a rare childhood cancer. There is a raffle, a silent auction, a bake sale, and plenty of vendors. Pastor Ben thinks, “This is a great opportunity to put our faith into action.”
Pastor Bill says he’s here because of “Love for God, and love for the Poulos family.” A vendor explains her purpose with the Howl the Owl product. HOWL stands for Helps Others With Love. Nora, a raffle volunteer, wanted to help Jackson because she thinks he’s a great kid.
It’s very good of all these people to gather to raise money for Jackson.
