October 2022 Leadership Team Minutes


Date/Time: October 10, 2022, 6:30pm
Present: Pastor Bill, Pastor Ben, Michael Babler, Jake Guenther, Jason Seiberlich, Tim Orlowski, Jo Jo Moore, Mike Shinners, Kelsey Kuske


  • Victory Kids gives out bibles to kids on their first visit. Staff has been giving out a lot of new bibles but the even more exciting part is that those kids are coming back 2, 3, 4 times!
  • There have been many newer faces attending church. Some have complemented the friendly faces of our volunteers and have said it helps make them more comfortable.
  • Victory’s first Fall Fest went well.
  • Pastor Appreciation Sunday was fun and many people shared their love and support for our pastors on social media.
  • Victory has been awarded the Siebert Grant to go towards supporting the Ministry Expansion Project.



  • Health Insurance – WELS VEBA needs to be offered to all of our employees working at least 20 hours per week. We will pay spousal “surcharge” for health insurance for our workers who are working at least 20 hours a week. Voted on and approved.


  • Opportunity to reach more people: Discussion around how Victory has the opportunity to reach even more people with Christ’s victory because of our online presence. This will continue to grow.


  • Life Groups: Current and new life groups have launched and are doing well. We are looking forward to watching these groups grow and adding even more groups to reach today’s people.


  • Siebert Grant: Victory has been awarded $60,00 from the Siebert Foundation to support the Ministry Expansion Project.
  • Ministry Expansion Update:
    1. Wrapping up construction
    2. Studio Funding Update: Goal = $60k / YTD $30K


  • Victory’s Discipleship Cycle: Victory staff have come up with a Victory Discipleship Cycle to assist in keeping focus on engaging both in person and online. The LT discussed and agreed.
  • 2-5 year plan: The leadership team discussed Victory’s 2-5 year plan and will revisit after the Staff Retreat in January.


  • Fall Fest: Victory’s first Fall Fest was a hit. There were 188 community members and members of Victory in attendance. The feedback was wonderful.
  • Food Drive and Toy DriveVictory will be hosting a food drive in November and a toy drive in December to support our community.
  • Trunk or Treat: Victory will be hosting a train-themed trunk at Franklin’s Trunk-or-Treat on October 27.


Next meeting is scheduled for November 14, 2022 at 6:30 pm.
