Jesus brings an end to us vs. them restoring peace to every broken relationship. This is an incredibly radical ideal that has the power to melt even the hardest of hearts.
Jesus came to live and die for all. Every soul is precious in God’s sight. Every soul is redeemed in the blood of Christ.

Jesus’s words, “you betray the Son of Man with a kiss” reveal the scandalous truth that Jesus was betrayed by someone in whom he has put his trust, someone he loved.
Jesus was fully aware of how God intended to redeem this world from its rebellion and sin. God’s plan is so scandalous (that the Father was willing to sacrifice his Son) that Jesus asks for another way.
As a liar and deceiver, he has succeeded in leading us astray time and again. But now Satan has set his sights on the ultimate prize—the Son of God, the promised Savior of the world.
Struggling with the sin inside, living in a self-centered society, it’s way too easy for us to go through life accomplishing little of lasting value. When Jesus is the Lord of my life, that all changes.
