Dealing with My Doubt
Despite our efforts, doubt is often a normal experience for many people, including Christian’s. You may have found yourself wondering how God could let bad things happen or whether he truly rose from the dead. You are not alone, even some of the people closest to Jesus found themselves doubting. In this sermon series, we will address common doubts and we will be reminded that God is faithful, even during times of uncertainty.

The Lord uses us in our weakness to show his glory and to do things we could never do on our own. God provided Aaron to help Moses. God parted the Red Sea as Moses stretched out his hand. In this sermon, we will explore the different instances where God used Moses to let His glory shine though.

We easily get confused on what we want and need. Jesus performed many miracles including healing a crippled man and enabling him to walk. However, the more important miracle was forgiving that man’s sins and opening heaven’s door for him to walk in. April 8 & 9, 2023: How do I know Jesus rose from the dead? (Easter)
Have you ever heard of Doubting Thomas? He was one of Jesus’ disciples and was known to doubt aspects of Jesus ministry and resurrection. When Jesus rose from the grave, Thomas stated he would not believe without seeing Jesus and touching his wounds from the cross. He needed to see to believe. Jesus states, “Blessed are those who have not seen, yet believe.” In this sermon we will learn about the countless promises fulfilled, proofs of the resurrection, and God’s presence in our life through Word and Sacrament that enable us to believe without seeing.
