When it seems as though we never have enough, the empty tomb is a reminder of how rich we really are. Look at all the spiritual blessings that you have right now in Christ Jesus. Our sin is disgraceful. Everything that happened to Jesus—who humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross—that all should have happened to us. Yet, because of Jesus willing, humble obedience, we are honored in God’s eyes.

The Holy Spirit deals out spiritual gifts just as they are needed for the well-being of Christ’s church. That means that every person is essential.
