Joy in Christ’s Work

Our salvation isn’t about our good works. By grace we are saved through faith. This means that we don’t have to worry about doing enough or being good enough to enjoy eternity with Jesus. At the same time, we can find joy in Christ’s work, which we do as a reflection of His love for us. Doing Jesus’ work isn’t always easy, but we press on towards the prize of eternity. Who Told You All Religions are Basically the Same?

Most religions seem superficially similar. All religions have a form of prayer, types of worship, and a way of life. Empty Life

When we’re looking for meaning and purpose in life, the empty tomb shows us how to work for things that really last. Sermon Text: Philippians 3

Celebration and Dedication

Dedication and Celebration: God blesses his people with joy and gladness when they thankfully celebrate what he’s done for them. Sermon Text: Nehemiah 12:27-47

Don’t All Paths Lead to God?

There are so many pious people out there who spend their lives sincerely working out their own way to God. How could a loving God condemn them? Why does there have to be only one way to heaven? Sermon Text: John 14:1-6

What do You Mean: “I’m Not Good Enough?”

There are a lot of really bad people out there, people who are certainly doing worse things than me. I try hard to do what’s right and make amends when I do wrong. How can you say I’m not good enough? Sermon Text: Luke 18:9-14
