Not Filters, But Transparency
Often influencers are tempted to filter their life to their audience, giving the impression that they are better people than they actually are. Where did sin come from?
Right at the start of the Bible, we read in Genesis how God created a perfect earth with perfect people. However, things didn’t stay perfect forever. God’s creation used the free will given to them by their Creator to be tempted by Satan, thereby staining the world forever. But is this where sin actually started – in the Garden of Eden? We Need the Light
When God first created the earth, everything was full of light … until it wasn’t. The world became a very dark place in a heartbeat. After humans fell into sin, God promised to send a rescuer to bring light into the darkness of sin. God Saves Us

Temptation
Satan wants us to believe the lie that God doesn’t know what He’s doing. We believe Satan and try to make ourselves into gods, because if we’re god, we can do whatever we want. We see other people get away with things we know are wrong, so we decide it’s okay to do those things too. When we make the decision to indulge in temptation, we hurt our relationship with others and with God. In love, God tells us “No” for our eternal good. 1 Corinthians 10:13
The Blame Game
We all struggle when we play the blame game. When things go wrong, we blame our-selves for not being enough. We blame our friends and family. And, whether we admit it or not, we blame God. While it’s important to take responsibility when we’re at fault and allow others to face the consequences for their actions, the real culprit for our struggles is sin. So, to stop the struggle with blame, we can rely on Jesus, who took the blame for our sin. Genesis 3:8-15
Faith Treasures Jesus’ Forgiveness

Our Suffering

Our Weakness
A Body of Death Because of sin we carry around what Paul calls “a body of death.” Our bodies are cursed with struggles like pain, disease, and addiction.
