Shining
God’s plan instead is to work in us to change our attitudes and our actions, to bring us closer to him, so that we can shine like stars as we hold out his word of life to our dying world.

Advancing
Even when we feel stuck, God is working in ways we cannot even imagine. Sometimes we just need to sit back and look for the ways God is moving things forward in and around us. Of this we can confident: the God who recruited us on to this spiritual journey will also bring it to completion so that we are ready for our Lord’s return. Sermon Text: Philippians 1:12-30
Milestone
There are many milestones in life that can trip us up. As Jesus journeys with us through life, his Word helps us navigate through these dangers and helps us arrive safely on the other side.
Grindstone
Though we may be embarrassed when our faith is subjected to the grindstone of misgivings and doubt, Scripture is not. As Jesus answers doubts head on, faith finds even more reason for certainty and hope.
