Parents, Don’t Obey Your Children

Parents, what’s up? Most parents will tell you that their children are their entire worlds.  However, there is danger in this.  A family that is focused on its children, rather than God, is going to experience struggles in relationships, finances, discipline, and more.  The best thing that a parent can do for a child is to teach him up in the way of the LORD, even if that means saying no. Wives, be the essential counterpart

The duties of wives has changed drastically since Jesus’ time on Earth. Yet, the Bible hasn’t changed. So what does that mean for the modern woman? It doesn’t mean she’s inferior or less important than her husband. Rather, she holds a sacred role in supporting and guiding her family, just as the Church is charged to lead people to Christ. Scriptures: Ruth 2; 1 Samuel 1; Hosea 1:2; 3:1 Sermon Text: 1 Peter…

No matter how busy we get, we must continually strive to build the relationship with the One who made us and blessed us with all…

Recharged

Lord, I’m tired. I know I should tell others about You and strive to live up to Your standards, but so many other things take energy that I don’t often make Your will a priority in my life. Help me to get recharged through Your promises and give me strength to proclaim Your name to all the world. Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 1:1-11; Matthew 6:19-34 Sermon Text: Psalm 19
