Not Filters, But Transparency

Often influencers are tempted to filter their life to their audience, giving the impression that they are better people than they actually are. Paul, on the other hand, was honest about his brokenness and sinfulness. He wanted to be transparent about his sinfulness so that his followers could see the extent of God’s grace for sinners. Sermon Text: 1 Timothy: 12-17 Preacher: Pastor Ben Sadler

Not Outward Appearance, But Inward Peace

Jesus taught us to not just do good things to be seen by people. Instead we are to love God and love others even when no one is looking because our love comes from a deep belief in the reality of God and his love for us. Sermon Text: Matthew 6: 1-8 Preacher: Pastor Bill Limmer

Not First, But Last

Instead of working so hard to be the greatest, Jesus calls us to work hard at being last and the servant of all. He showed his disciples how to serve by taking on the role of a servant and washing their feet. Sermon Text: John 13: 1-17 Preacher: Pastor Ben Sadler

Not “likes”, but Love

Instead of using our influence to get “likes” for ourselves, let’s follow Jesus who laid down his life for us. Let’s love not just with words but with actions and truth. Sermon Text: 1 John 3:16-18 Preacher: Pastor Bill Limmer

Fresh Start

January 1st starts a new year.   A time to start over and become new people. We usually carry our sin and guilt into the New Year. So this year, let’s have a fresh start through the finished work of Jesus. Sermon Text: Micah 7: 18-20 Preaching Pastor: Pastor Ben Sadler
