Ash Wednesday is the first day of the Christian season of Lent, which is a time of spiritual reflection and preparation leading up to Easter. On Ash Wednesday, we are reminded of our human limitations and the need to turn away from sin and towards God. We will meditate on Psalm 51 which is powerful prayer of confession and repentance, with its words expressing a deep longing for mercy and forgiveness from God. This psalm serves as a reminder of the importance of humility and a willingness to acknowledge our mistakes and seek reconciliation with God.
