I Am Worthless
The devil wants me to think that everyone else in the world has worth except me. Yet, every child of God is precious in his sight.

My Next Steps
Thought to Ponder: When you were baptized, God declared his love and commitment to you to lavish on you an eternal inheritance.
Treasure to Share: “For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect” (1 Peter 1:18-19).
Action to Take: Commit 1 John 3:1 to memory by reading it, repeating it out loud, and actively recalling it when you wake up each day this week. This will help you to begin guarding yourself against the lies of the devil, the world, and your own sinful nature. You are not worthless, you are dearly loved child of God! Embracing this fact will also help us a church family embrace other people with whatever baggage they bring when we realize that we can all be honest about the invisible suitcases that we carry together with the support of Christ.
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”
