Living out our identity depends on who’s in front of us at the present time. We live to display Jesus’ glory and splendor in the world around us.

My Next Steps
Point to Ponder: The world balks at many of the instructions for life that God gives us in the Bible. Contrary to the selfless love in which God instructs us, the world (and our sinful nature as well!) wishes simply to live and love selfishly. But God gives us the power to overcome our natural inclination to love self-ishly instead of self-lessly. That power is the promise of an eternal inheritance of heaven!
Treasure to Share: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23).
Action to Take: Pray that God uses your life and the lives of others to proclaim Jesus as the Savior of the World. Ask God to help you live your life showing genuine love to everyone you know and meet and making the most of every opportunity to share Jesus with others.
