My Next Steps
Question to Ponder: When does fear sometimes lead you to personal plotting instead of putting your trust in God?
Treasure to Share: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
Action to Take: The story of Joseph in the Old Testament is a great example of how God works to accomplish his saving purposes in spite of evil schemes. Read Genesis chapters 37-50. Keep track of any parallels you notice between the life of Joseph and the life of Jesus. Do you see any connection to how God has worked for good in your life?
Key verse: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives” (Genesis 50:20).
