Vending Machines, Microchips and Prayer

Vending Machines, Microchips and Prayer

Dear friends,

One of our Core Values at Victory is Youth Engagement. God has blessed many of our families with children and God has blessed all of us with our Victory Kids ministry. It is so cool to see the smiling faces leave the Victory Kids wing on Sunday morning. Time and again, parents tell me how their child(ren) can’t wait to get to Victory Kids! So a “shout out” to God and to all who use their God-given gifts to make disciples of our children. If you would like to help in Victory Kids, or just would like more information about Victory Kids, contact our Director, Liz Scheel.

Last week Pastor Ben introduced us to a friendly ‘monster” who can make a difference in our lives for years to come. Check out this friendly monster.  And as you do, remember “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

I went to Costco on Thursday, not my first trip ?. But this time, way more than usual, I noticed all this cool stuff. As I was walking the aisles, I kept repeated this refrain to myself: “That would be cool to have. That would be cool to have.” This Sunday morning at 8:30 and 10:15 we are going to consider the difference between Vending Machines, Microchips and Prayer. Bring a family member or friend. If you can’t make it, you can watch online.
