Victory of the Lamb (Victory) is inviting families from across the community to its second annual Family Night featuring Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:30pm at their Franklin campus, located at 11120 W. Loomis Road (Highway 36).
After welcoming more than 700 guests to last year’s event, Victory is expanding the experience with more than two dozen vehicles for children to explore, climb aboard, and interact with. The family-friendly event is designed to bring the community together for an evening of fun, connection, and hands-on activities. Vendors like Bell Ambulance are returning for a second year following last year’s success.
"Touch-A-Truck was an incredible experience last year. It was so sweet to see families from our local neighborhoods come together, explore all of the cool apparatus, and talk with the people and organizations that serve our community. I’m excited to participate again, because events like this remind me of my own childhood memories,” said Dareen Abu-Fares, Paramedic at Bell Ambulance.
Guests can also enjoy a variety of local food vendors, including Phoenix Bar & Grill, Mr. P’s Grilled Cheese, and Pine Acres General Store. Courtesy of Victory of the Lamb, the first 500 guests will receive a free ice cream from Pine Acres.
“Last year, we saw the Touch-A-Truck event as an event on Facebook, and with a one-year-old, we figured, let’s try it,” said 2025 event attendee, Kayla Dykstra. “It was really neat to see all the different trucks up close and have our son get to sit in them. All of the volunteers were so welcoming and helpful. The event is full of community and fun.”
In addition to the Touch-A-Truck experience, attendees can enjoy a dedicated Kids Zone featuring bounce houses, games, a free construction hat station, and live music from Mike Westendorf and Rebecca Abramowski.
“Family Night is one of our favorite opportunities to serve and bless our community,” said Lead Pastor Bill Limmer. “In a world that often feels rushed and disconnected, we want to create a place where families can slow down, have fun together, and build meaningful relationships. The response last year was incredible, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to welcome even more families this summer.”
The event is free to attend and open to the public. No registration is required. A complimentary shuttle for overflow parking will be available beginning at 4:00pm on the event day at Polonia Soccer Club located at 10200 W. Loomis Road.
