Have you ever doubted God’s existence? God’s plan for you? That God is on your side? That He knows what He is doing? Have you ever doubted that he forgives you?
We all struggle with doubt from time to time, yet we often pretend like we have it all together. Doubts often happen when our circumstances are different than what we think they should be, like when someone gets sick, or worse.
Here is a key: use your doubts to remind that you have much more to learn about God. Use your doubts to run to God in His Word to learn why our expectations have led us astray. The more we learn who God is, the more we will trust him.
This weekend we are continuing our series Hope in the Darkness, where we find hope even in the darkness of doubt.
Reaching today’s people with Christ’s victory,
CURRENT SERIES – HOPE IN THE DARKNESS
ICYMI – Last weekend, Pastor Ben continued the series with a message about grief. Even when you’re in the depths of despair, when you feel like the grief of the last year overwhelms you… Jesus is with you, bringing you hope in your grief because he lives. You can click here to read and watch this message.
Coming Up This Weekend – Pastor Bill continues the series with a message about doubt. When your faith is tested, when you struggle to find hope in Christ amidst your doubt… Jesus uses his Word and his people to bring you hope to overcome your doubt. Join us for worship on Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30am at the Ministry Center, on our live stream site, or our YouTube channel.
Board Game Drive – Now through this weekend, you can bring new or gently used board games to Victory to donate to Franklin Public Schools. Thank you for supporting our community!
