PASTOR’S MESSAGE
Hi Friends,
Let’s take a stroll down memory lane. What was on your Christmas list when you were in elementary school? High school?
What does your Christmas list look like this year?
My guess is that as your lists between grade school and high school were different, so your list this year is considerably different than it was in back then.
But even though the lists are different, there is a connection – hope!
Hope in Jesus is not wishful thinking or optimism. Hope in Jesus is about trust and confidence. Hope is an eager expectation and anticipation of what is sure to come—an active, faith-infused waiting for. It is the resting of the human heart on God, with full trust that he will care for us and for our salvation and that he will give us the happiness he has promised.
If you want a gift that will not disappoint, hope in Jesus is the one!
This weekend we are beginning a new series, Christmas List. And the gift that we want to open is the gift of hope that truly only Jesus can bring

CURRENT SERIES: Christmas list

We pray a prayer of thanksgiving in times of blessing, and we call out to God for help in times of trial. James 5 tells us that prayer that flows from faith is powerful and effective. Coming Up This Weekend: Pastor Bill kicks off the new sermon series, Christmas List. The series kicks off with a message about Hope. Hope has to do with trust and confidence.
