My son has a dog named Chief. When my son adopted Chief as puppy, everything and everyone scared Chief. People just wanted to hold the cute little Labrador puppy, but Chief was so afraid he would run away. Now, Chief loves to play with people, but he is still afraid of the vacuum cleaner.
Sometimes, people run away from God. They are unsure or maybe even super scared. Plus, God knows all the “bad stuff” they’ve done. Are you scared of God? I want you to know that God loves you despite the bad stuff of our sins. He just wants to hold us and bring us peace.
Jesus says, “My peace I give to you. . . Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27).
I want to invite you to worship this weekend at Victory. Our new series, Let’s Be Real, begins this Sunday. I hope to see you at 9:00am or 10:30am in person or online. Peace!
Sharing Christ’s victory,

Thank You from Pastor Bill – Thank you for the outpouring of love and support at the passing of my mom. God richly blessed me with a wonderful Christian mom. By the grace of God, she has received the crown of life and now lives with God forever in Heaven!
Lutherans for Life Craft Fair – WELS Lutherans for Life is hosting a Craft Fair on March 30 from 10:00am-3:00pm at St. John’s Lutheran School (68th and Forest Home in Milwaukee). Thrivent Choice Dollars – This is the time of the year where you can designate your Thrivent Choice Dollars to your favorite charities. Our church could receive a total benefit of over $1,000 if all our Thrivent members remember to designate their allotted amount before the dollars expire on March 31st, 2019. If you a Thrivent member, you can do this in either of 2 ways: call 1-800-847-4836 and say “Thrivent Choice” at the prompt to send your allocated dollars to Victory of the Lamb Church; OR log in to the Thrivent Website and select “Designate Choice Dollars” to do the same. Thank you for your generosity!
