Last Saturday, when we got in our car to go out, I knew a blinker light burned out by the rapid speed of the blinker light signal on the console.
Now I don’t work for NAPA or Autozone, but I have replaced a few blinker lights along the way and . . . there is Youtube, after all. So I Youtubed it. The video showed that, to replace the blinker light, I need to take the wheel shield covering off. Then I needed to take off another protective apron. And that’s when I stopped watching. I called and made an appointment with the mechanic.
I don’t know all the mechanic had to do to replace the bulb. But I do know he cut his arm replacing the light and had to take a tire off. I thought out loud, Who was the “wise” engineer who made this car this way? And furthermore, who is the “wise” person who gave the okay for the car to be made this way? The mechanic agreed.
This Sunday we are going to be continuing the Seeing 2020 series. We’ll discover that, unlike some things we do like replacing blinker lights, it’s refreshing and easy for us to access wisdom of God.
I hope to see you in person or online this weekend at 9:00 or 10:30am.
Sharing Christ’s victory,
CURRENT SERIES – SEEING 2020
ICYMI – Last Sunday, Pastor Ben shared a message about having a community of wisdom surrounding you. Although true wisdom comes from God and his Word, it takes a community of believers to discover and apply it. Click here to read or watch last Sunday’s message.
Coming Up This Sunday – This weekend, Pastor Bill will share a message about Jesus being the embodiment of wisdom. You can also check out the Spotify playlist for the series here.

Safety at Church – Last week, worshipers at a local church had their cars and valuables stolen while in church. So, we wanted to remind you to consider safety of your property while at church. We encourage you to remove your valuables and lock your vehicles when you come in for worship or events at church. Also, please keep valuables (such as purses, wallets, and car keys) with you at all times. While we are blessed to have a talented Safety Team who keeps an eye on the building and lot during services, we can help them out by protecting ourselves from theft.
