Where am I going? And how am I going to get there? Those are the two questions that we naturally ask this time of the year. It’s the time of the year when people set goals and design a strategy to accomplish them.
That’s why we are starting this new sermon series called Seeing 2020. In this series, we are going to discuss making wise decisions about our future as we look at the book of Proverbs.
But maybe there are a few of us who don’t want to talk about the future. Maybe we are still feeling guilty about the unwise decisions we’ve made in the past. Or maybe we know the changes we need to make, but they just seem too difficult.
If that is how you feel, let me assure you: The sins of your past are forgiven. Jesus paid for them on the cross. You don’t need to stay stuck in the past. And now by faith, the Holy Spirit dwells in you so that you can begin to make the necessary changes to live differently in this new year. In addition, you are surrounded by a church that exists to support and encourage you as you walk with the Lord.
I hope to see you in person or online this weekend at 9:00 or 10:30am.
Sharing Christ’s victory,
