PASTOR’S MESSAGE
Hi Friends,
It was moving day! We were moving to the community where I was assigned to serve. Jacky and I were talking at the top of the concrete steps that led to the basement. Andrew, who was 13 months old at the time, walked right in between us and fell all the way down the concrete steps to the basement floor.
I ran downstairs to get him while Jacky called 911. Holding him so tightly, I walked upstairs and outside with him. As soon as I got outside, I could hear the sirens. Help was on the way. In less than three minutes the EMT’s pulled up and jumped out of the ambulance. As they made their way to me and Andrew, I asked what every father who is concerned about their child’s life would ask: “Are you republican or democrat?”
Of course, I didn’t ask that. This was an emergency. When there is an emergency, that thing becomes the focus.
Christianity is an emergency. People’s eternal soul’s are at stake. Many Christian’s are asking the question, “are you republican or democrat?” instead of living out Jesus command to love one another as I have loved you.
This weekend we will continue our series Glad You Asked to answer the question: “How do Christian values and politics interact?”
You’re invited to join us for worship this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30am. You can worship at Victory, on our live stream site, or on our YouTube channel.

CURRENT SERIES: gLAD YOU ASKED
ICYMI – Pastor Ben continued the series discussing the topic and questions around divorce. By sharing your personal experiences with Pastor Ben, it led him to redirect his focus from the question “What does God say about divorce” to “What does God say about divorced people?” We focused on John 4 where we learned that Jesus seeks out and saves divorced people. We must worship God in Spirit and Truth. To read and watch the message, click here.
Coming Up This Weekend – Pastor Bill continues the series with a message about how Christian values and politics interact. To answer the most common questions about this topic, we’ll look at what Jesus says and does when faced with questions about allegiance and government. You can join in on Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30am at Victory, on our live stream site, or our YouTube channel.
