PASTOR’S MESSAGE

Hi Friends,

Without good friends we just aren’t going to be able to make it in this life. At least that’s what Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, once said:
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24)

When you need financial support, a friend will be there to help you get by. When you are depressed or anxious, a friend will be there to pick you up and calm you down. And when you lost your way, a Christian friend will point you back to Christ.
So, do you have that kind of friend? Or better yet, are you that kind of friend to someone else?
This Sunday, we are continuing our sermon series on the life of David. And we will be focusing especially on the remarkable friendship that David had with Jonathan. As we walk through this story, we will learn the best way to create and cultivate Christian friendships. (Hint: it takes more than sending a “friend request” on social media.)
After a long period of social distancing, we could all use this kind of training. So I hope to see you this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30am at Victory, on our live stream site, or on our YouTube channel.
In Christ,
Pastor Ben Sadler
P.S. As always, Pastor Bill and I are here to serve and help you. Feel free to reach out to me via email or phone at 414-380-2090.

CURRENT SERIES – David: The (im)Perfect King

ICYMI – Last weekend, Pastor Bill continued the series with a message about our battles. Jesus already defeated the giant of sin in your life. So, no battle is too big when we size it up based on who God is, not just what we can see. You can click here to read and watch this message.

Coming Up This Weekend – Pastor Ben will share a message about listening to God. Rather than orienting our hearts to what we want or feel like we need, we constantly need to go to God in prayer and His Word to orient our hearts with God’s heart. Join us for worship on Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30am at Victory on our live stream site or our YouTube channel.
