PASTOR’S MESSAGE

Dear Friends,

The 10-year-old boy couldn’t wait. He was so excited. His dad managed to get tickets for the playoff game of his favorite team. Finally, it was the day of the game. So they go to the arena and they have amazing seats. The boy’s smile was from ear to ear. He was so happy, so full of joy. At halftime, his team was losing but it was still close but by the end of the third quarter the outcome was decided. The little boy and his dad left half way through the fourth quarter with his team trailing big and with tears rolling down from his eyes to his cheeks to his shirt. He was crushed.

Life is often like a roller coaster with a lot of ups and downs. Wouldn’t it be great if we could always be happy and filled with joy? Maybe we can.

This weekend at worship we are going to continue our Fueled series. And the fruit of the Spirit this week is joy. In our message we are going to see what the joy robbers are and how we can live a life of joy no matter what our circumstances are.

See you this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30am, in person or online.

Sharing Christ’s love and victory,

Pastor Bill

CURRENT SERIES – FUELED

ICYMI – Last Sunday, Pastor Ben kicked off our Fueled series with a message about love. The love that Jesus has for us, that he showed us on the cross, is never-failing. This unconditional love is what we strive to show those around us. Click here to view or read last Sunday’s message.

Coming Up This Sunday – This week, Pastor Bill will continue our Fueled series with a message about joy. We don’t have to feel happy and pleased to experience joy. Joy comes from knowing our eternity is secure in Jesus. Join us on Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30am at church or online.
