Hi Friends,
Who is in first place?
If you take a peek at the NFL standings, currently the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles are tied for first place in the NFC. If you look at the NBA Eastern standings, the Milwaukee Bucks are in first place! If you look at the Big Ten football standings, Michigan and Ohio State are tied for the first place in the East.
But what about in your life? Who or what is first?
This weekend we are continuing our study of the book of James, with the theme Faith Works, and James is going to direct us to see if God is in first place in our life, or if we are worshiping someone or something else.

CURRENT SERIES: Faith Works
ICYMI: Pastor Ben continued the series with a message about speaking wisely. We learned that the mouth speaks what the heart is full of so the first step is to ask God to work in your heart. James 3 adds another level to understanding Christian maturity as it teaches us the importance of speaking wisely with our words. Our words ought to flow from faith. Coming Up This Weekend: Pastor Bill continues the series with a message from James 4. Our selfish desires lead us to quarrel to get our own way. James 4 teaches us to put our faith into action by changing our hearts through submission to God’s Word. When we humble ourselves in such a way, God will lift us up.
