Victory News – September 17, 2021

Hi Friends,

We are purpose-driven creatures. That’s how God designed us. We need a reason to get out of bed in the morning. So what is your greater purpose? What has God called you to do? In last week’s sermon, we heard that God gave Nehemiah a big purpose. He was called to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem that had been torn down from the Babylonian invasion. But how could he accomplish such a big vision? He needed every person in Jerusalem to take up his particular role and contribute to the goal.

The same is true in the Christian Church. God has given each of us roles to play to fulfill God’s vision. This Sunday, with the help of God’s Word, we are going to discover our unique role in God’s kingdom. Each one of us plays a different part. It’s important that we know what we are supposed to be doing. And then, let’s get to work!

Hope to see you for worship this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30am, in person or online.  Feel free to invite a family member or friend to join you. You can worship at Victory, on our live stream site, or on our YouTube channel.

Reaching today’s people with Christ’s victory,

Pastor Ben

ICYMI – Last weekend, Pastor Bill kicked off the new series with a message about Victory’s God-sized vision. Coming Up This Weekend – Pastor Ben continues our vision series with a message about taking the next step in our ministry. after we have a clear vision and plan, we need to get to work. Join us for worship on Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30am at Victory on our live stream site or our YouTube channel.
